Elaine lives in Vail, Colorado and has a place at the beach in Delaware. She has long been inspired by the beauty and grandeur of the mountains and the quiet beauty of the aspens in the snow. There are other subjects that attract attention and beg to be painted or sketched, such as gardens and the seashore and ocean. She is part of a long-established life drawing group in Delaware and loves painting and sketching people.

Elaine studied at the California College of Arts and Crafts and various commercial art colleges and has degrees in illustration and graphic design. She has been a painter, an art director, illustrator, graphic designer and a watercolor artist.

Elaine has exhibited in many galleries and has works in collections throughout the U.S.
